This is a plain-language overview of the commercial terms described on this website, not a reviewed MSA or a binding agreement. Your signed MSA and role-specific SOW control.

  • Before search: agree to a written SOW for the named role before any sourcing or outreach.
  • Success fee: typically a mid-20s percentage of first-year base salary, with the exact fee agreed in the SOW. Earned and invoiced when the hire starts.
  • Replacement: one replacement search for an eligible departure within approximately 90 days, subject to the MSA. Terminations for cause or performance are excluded.
  • Engagement options: no default retainer or exclusivity. Any optional exclusivity or engaged deposit is agreed per role in writing.
  • Candidates: never pay application, introduction, or placement fees.

This website provides an overview of JourneyAlly’s employer-paid contingency search approach. Reading this site, completing the contact form, or having an introductory conversation does not create a search engagement or authorize candidate sourcing.

Written terms come first

Search begins only after a written statement of work (SOW) for the specific role. The signed master services agreement (MSA) and SOW govern the scope, success fee, invoice terms, any optional exclusivity or engaged deposit, and replacement eligibility. Website summaries are not a substitute for those signed documents.

Success fees and replacement searches

The default model is a success fee on first-year base salary, earned and invoiced when the hire starts. An eligible early departure may qualify for one replacement search within approximately 90 days, subject to the MSA; terminations for cause or performance are excluded. Candidates never pay JourneyAlly.
